By signing up for TruHome Experience, you're entering into a simple monthly subscription agreement with us. We'll show up on schedule and do good work; you'll pay your monthly bill on time. Either of us can cancel anytime. The full terms are below.
TruHome Experience LLC ("TruHome," "we," "us") is a North Carolina limited liability company providing residential home maintenance services in the greater Charlotte, NC and nearby South Carolina areas.
When you subscribe to a TruHome membership, we'll provide the services listed on your plan at the cadence described on our services page. Add-on services may be added or removed by you at any time, subject to availability and the price set when you add them.
Custom service requests (anything outside the standard membership) are quoted on-site after we visit. You're never billed for a custom service without first agreeing to the price.
Memberships are billed monthly to the payment method on file (processed by Stripe). Billing happens on the same day each month based on the day you signed up. Your subscription auto-renews each month until you cancel. By signing up, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically until you tell us to stop.
Pricing is shown on the membership page. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any price increase.
You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard or by emailing hello@truhomeexperience.com. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period — we won't charge you for the next month, and you keep service through the period you've already paid for.
Refunds aren't typically given for partial months. If a service we owe you wasn't delivered, contact us and we'll either reschedule it or refund a fair portion of the bill — your call.
Our happiness guarantee:if you're not satisfied with a visit, tell us within 7 days and we'll come back and make it right at no extra charge.
We serve the greater Charlotte, NC area and nearby South Carolina (roughly Lancaster, SC up through Concord, NC). If your home falls outside our service area, we may not be able to fulfill your subscription — in that case, we'll refund any payment we've collected in full.
You agree to give our crews safe access to your property on scheduled service days, including unlocking gates, restraining pets, and clearing obstructions where reasonable.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for keeping your contact and address information current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
We may take photos during visits to document our work and send updates to you. Unless you opt out in writing, we may also use anonymized before/after photos in our marketing — never with your name, address, or any identifying information.
TruHome is licensed and insured. If our crew damages your property during a service, our insurance covers it — contact us right away and we'll walk through it. Beyond that, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as inconvenience or lost time, except where North Carolina law prohibits such limits.
Weather, supply outages, illness, and other things beyond our control may cause us to reschedule a visit. We'll let you know as soon as possible and get you back on the calendar quickly.
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we'll email active members and update the "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by North Carolina law. Any dispute that can't be worked out informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and you agree to that venue.
Questions about these terms? Email hello@truhomeexperience.com and we'll get back to you within one business day.
